Here's a thought I wanted to share.

Someone....someone who was a former member on two other sites, is using e-mails and password access to play little games with user's accounts and read their e-mail.  Someone with Administrator capability.  Now dont get all uppity Hankey, I didn't say YOU!!!

Lefora has been made aware of this crap, and also we have notified the local authorities of this new game online.   Emails HAVE been deleted, new accounts activated without knowledge or authority, and who knows what else.

I suggest EVERY single user IMMEDIATELY change their passwords, and watch their emails and any unsuspecting activity on their accounts!!!

Wyatt, as you know I am the enforcer on this site.  I have Administrative rights.  I clicked around and don't have any special access to what your actual email is.  So I would not know if it is hotmail, yahoo or some other email address.

But it is strange about the email I got, and that some members are listed on the BUZZ site, supposedly with out their knowledge. 

Thats very strange, being that J.D., Hankey, and others have stated in the past that it couldn`t be done. Beware big brother is watching, listening, and reading. Be afraid, be very afraid! It could be happening to you as you read this warning.

Let me be clear on something.  I don't know for a fact that anyone involved with the blogs was snooping.  I actually now think this was a simple email virus or spoof.

I don't think administrators have any special access to you email address. 
That is not to say that someone with more computer brains could not be enterprising and figure out a way to capture it somehow and attmpt to infiltrate it.

I think people are overreating on this at ATZ and the BUZZ.

You know the one who makes fun of this forum, and who threw your lord, and master under the bus. I think that  bus was the Gracie special, the one that runs thru Homeland Park, down S. McDuffie St., by the Fire Dept, and stops at the Wellington Park.

Samcro is right, there is nothing you can do as an admin on Lefora to get anyone's password.  The only time we see an email address is when a membership request is pending.  Once approved, it dissappears.  I'm sure someone who actually works for Lefora could get that information if they wanted to, regardless of whether they say they can or cannot.  It has to be stored in some form somewhere. 

Having said that, it IS entirely possible for someone to get that information in other ways, admin or not.  But I seriously doubt that anyone associated with "The Buzz" has the brains to do it.

Dic, I don't get my information on the goings on in the county from JD and ATZ.  I may glance once in a while, but you'll notice, I don't participate much if any in their pissing matches.

I also don't take information from the other side either.  Their adjenda is pefectly clear to me.
