While serving in exile, I have a few comments about posts on the darkside (ATZ).
The Slam Cunningham posts.
The main reason Mr. Cunningham added his name to Mr. Preston's lawsuit aimed at getting Ms. Wilson and Mr. Waldrip to discontinue bullying county employees and circumventing the administrators' office, is to PROTECT county employees. That's his responsibility now. Were he not to back up County employees from having to face threats, bullying and intimidation, he would fail all those who report to him - they do NOT report to council and certainly not individual council members.
The Lies About Access To Information.
The MCW, BW and WAIM crowd would have us believe that all this hub bub is about freedom of information. That is a cruel hoak. Ms. Wilson admitted in a court deposition that she had received all she asked for. Sure, sometimes it has been slow to come out. It takes time away from already busy employees to answer endless questions and request for data. Bottom line is, we all support fredom of information. We all don't support on-going intimidation, threats and bullying.
Attacks on Cunningham Have a Racial Tone.
Today on Rick Driver, Dan Harvell called in and used the code word "colors."
"Colors" as in, we "now know his true colors." Interesting choice of words.
Regular monitors of WAIM Rick Driver Show are already gathering the numerous polemic racial innuendo tone on the show. Once this information is gathered, don't be surprised if local advertisers are not apprised of what they are sponsoring? There's more than one way to deal with racisism. Remember Imus!
Rick himself set the tone the day after Mr. Cunningham was appointed as new Administrator.... .... in affect saying, "this won't stand, what's he going to do, play the race card?" Cunningham wasn't in office one whole day before Rick pounced on a racial insult. Of course, he's been doing that for quit sometime against Ms. Floyd, and he's not fooling anyone. Of course he'll deny and use code words and phrases (like; "I don't care what color anybody is.." but people are not buying it. My guess is, they won't be buying at any of WAIM's advertisers either.
