The moderators have completely lost it. They have banned Wyatt, VOR, and andersonretro and ME! We all got banned mostly for not agreeing with moderation which is skewed by the moderators own opinions.
To be fair, as a protest of the bans on Wyatt, VOR and andersonretro, I asked JD to ban me. I told him I'd be over on Hankey and taking others with me.
So- Hankey, ramp it up. We'll show them!

Nah, more like "kick-off" because I was standing up for my fellow bloggers.
There was a difference of opinion between andersonreto and JD about compliance with forum rules. Rather than let them settle it, others jumped in the fray. The argument then became about moderation and the forum in general. I don't understand why those so dead set against moderation go to a forum with it, then agrgue with the moderators when it is imposed. Then republikin not to be left out, asked to be banned. So instead of a poster and moderator resolving a problem, it escalated. It all came down to moderation. You either accept it and post there, or you don't accept it and get a temporary ban.-nomadron
Nope! It's not the moderation (although I think it is not necessary) it is about the subjective and prejudical nature of the moderation. They NEVER ban anyone they agree with. Best I can tell, VOR, Wyatt and andersonretro did hardly anything, except not agree with JD. The moderators on ATZ have let the roll go to their heads. Ole Nick on his worse day never banned bloggers for such silly, meaningless reasons. Art and JD for some hard to fathom logic seem to believe there's something special about ATZ. JD is all for free speech, as long as it agrees with his views. What a washed up joke he is. He makes fun of bloggers nearly everyday (he can because he's a "moderator') but let someone he doesn't agree with try it and they are GONE!

But seriously, I appreciate the supportive indignation you showed to JD by sticking your literal middle finger at them. One may not like the messenger, but the message is clear. I am clearly NOT appreciated for my opinions, and thats all & well. But I recall how the settlers of early America were also persecuted for going against the whims of the masses, and look how that turned out for them. Defiance of tyrany is paramount to keeping our ability to speak our minds as one of the freedoms we still have in this country.
Hey Wyatt, I don't agree with you on SOME opinions, but I do agree that free expression should be allowed. I don't care for curse words (within limits) and I think we should all avoid personal attacks. Here's what gets me. If we write something like "are you nots, have you lost it, forgot you meds????"....and such,while annoying, I don't think those are personal attacks.
On the other hand, JD trashes anyone and anything he doesn't like or agree with and it's ok. I suggested he put himself in a "time out" for his derogatory, condesending, elitist remarks. He's been silent on that. probably because I'm on the banned list. Thank goodness (a stretch) for Hankey

Surely you wouldn't like me if I was AGREEABLE with you, the morons running ATZ, or the idiots sitting in council chambers "shooting" the council members 24/7. As a TRUE Yankee/Left Coaster, I try my best to not be associated with back-asses Suthern thinking by just nodding my head and saying yuppers to everything posted. So this way, at least you have that friendly adversarial relationship one looks forward to when logging on ( Is that fuckin' bastard WYATT online yet?!?!?)
I will NOT exclusively make JD the culprit on this selective discrimination matter. I don't see MerryMac, Art or even old man Pappy being such asses about posts from all. Mr. Tippet is just the bigger dick about it. Pulling his re-edited and re-re-dited posts, he knows he's just as much a antagonist as myself, Spider, Citizen, VOR, REP or even RINO. The recent posts had NOTHING vulgar, personal or so forth in them. It was clear JD just didn't want any of us posting in response to his dick-tatership, whic is what WAS posted.
Speaking on that RINO deal, it was actually JD whom incited the instigation of the whole personal attack/stalking thing. I'm not defending RINO's insanity one bit. At the end, I actually warned him and his wife, while at a car show, about escalation and likely retaliation from a first hand POV. But I do defend how those in "control" added to the issue, and they ended up looking all innocent while the one being verbally accosted was left with becoming a total dick about it ( Hmmmm, probably never happend before) and got banned. EVERYONE is guilty of posting something less than "mature". Yes, even WYATT. It's all done in fun and jest (most times). Some folks just can't take ribbing and opposition in any form.
I'll hang here till Hank and the rest tell me to fuck off, which should take less than a few hours.

Hankey and one or two others might tell you to do that "off" thing, but I won't. Even if Hankey or others do, it doesn't mean anything, some of them went to USC and never learn't what it means to be part of a coterie. But, when the "bans" are on, they'll defend you to the delete button.
