Well for me, there are not any conversations going on that I am in tune enough with to have a strong enough opinion to post on. I guess that would fall a tad bit more under the second pick, if those are the only two ways to vote. I'm sure something will come up soon enough though. I guess most everyone else is doing something else right now. I sure would be if I were not at work.

No fear here. Too much home chores, kiddies, cook'n, clean'n, high school football, World Series - you know, all the important stuff.

Heck, that shouldn't stop you. Check out the other blog. No strong opinion needed, no clue, no in tune, nothing else to do. :-)
Not to mention the butt-kissing between you and JD yesterday on the other forum. No fear here. Too much home chores, kiddies, cook'n, clean'n, high school football, World Series - you know, all the important stuff.

Yeah Rep, you see how well that worked out for me. Heck, I was attacked by a moderator over something somebody else posted. Anyway, my buddy JD took care of it.
Well, It worked out just the opposite for me. My son made a couple of comments and Jd (The moderator),first after calling his grandmother a bitch accused him of being me, then told him what he commented on was none of his business, and last but surely not least threatened both myself, and my son. I feel that this will shortly involve both my daughter, and my wife. jd, I think wants to make this a family affair, well my family is not only willing, but very able.

Well so far, I've never had any problem with any of the moderators on that forum, except one. I can live with that. Sorry bout your dealings though.
Don`t feel sorry for me, I love a good fight, verbal, physical,or financial,I don`t know the meaning of the word quit, and, don`t really care what it cost`s or whether I win or lose, as long as the other party is spending more than he, or she can afford.I`ll deal with jd, my son will have a marine to marine talk with jd jr., and my wife can deal with either jd`s B! tc#, of a mother,or wife.,as the case may be. My daughter, and son in law,are standing by in case they are needed.

OK, I myself would rather pick my battles by how important they are to me. Not much said on here will change the course of my, or any of my loved ones lifes. I can argue with whomever. However once I log off this here box in front of me, I leave it all there, till I come back to it. Most of it reminds me of watching a soap opera. Although in this one, I can be an actor and sway the "story line" to some small degree every now and then. Thing about it is, if I miss a day or more, the story will keep going. Some characters are foes one day and allies the next. A few on here, or other forums have sparred with me from time to time. Other than one, I'd wonder where they went if I didn't see them after a few days. Yeap, may even miss them some. However, I always try to look at it as a story line. Now granted, there have been a few times I've allowed it to mean more to me than I should have. However, even then, once I'm away from here the real pressures and joys of life soon make what was said or done that day nothing more than a memory to be picked back up at a later time. I "think" I have made a friend or two along the way, but can't really say I'd consider any my enemy. I'm sure in the real world I could hang out and get along with just about anyone here. Some I often disagree with, yet respect none the less. Some make me rethink my opinions on things, and some sure reinforce them. However, 99% of them I'd shake their hands, or help them fix a flat in the rain. I guess to some degree it reminds me of wrestling. Beating heads in the ring, then yucking it up in the back. Of course, there are some who take it all to heart. If I have a disagreement with so and so on Monday, then I'm sure come Wed. we may hit on something we agree on and what ever happen on Monday doesn't matter anymore. It's what I meant by foe one day, allies the next. Anyway, just as we all disagree on what's said here, I'm sure we all disagree about how much what's said here means to us in the real world. I guess it's what keeps it interesting. Sure beats daytime drama on the boobtube.

Ya know, that has always been my philosophy about this blog stuff. Some bloggers (usually those with a nose in the air) try to give the impression that these blogs are, people changing, community changing, world changing. I don't think so. These blogs are a diversion from boring times of the day.
Heck, if we can't rib one another, what fun is it? I think Hankey is a hoot, and he/she makes some good points. Some of the folks (can't name names) on the ATZ blog think its a seriouos forum. Please, get a life. Have fun with this stuff. Try not to hurt anyone else, keep name-call'n to the fun stuff.
On the other blog I used to change some bloggers names around just to get a rise. It did to. There was someone using the name DuneBuggy. I changed it to DumbBuddy. What harm was that? It was all in fun. Anyway, I agree with you.
Let it flow. Nothing changes. Who says things have to change just because a blogger gets a bug up a sleeve ? Let the blog roll.
I have no problem with a good joke,or a good ribbing. I can take it and dish it out with the best of them, and not get carried away, unless some one else gets serious, or try`s talking down to me as in the case of JD. He was, and is very serious about all he has stated on his precious forum. I have 10 computers, and people to man them at all times of the day and night. Right now they are busy with the up-coming election, but after Nov.4th I can flood The Anderson Talkzone with more bloggers than old JD, and his crew can moderate if I so choose.Ya know, that has always been my philosophy about this blog stuff. Why bother? Time will take care of them. Things like this don't last. Why do you think Nick left? He knows there is no future in blogs (not a future with any income). He couldn't deal with the real world so he's gone off to some kind of new church. He's found another thing that won't last. Post away and have fun but carry no animosity. Life is too short. Be happy, like Hankey.
Who said Mr. Hankey the Damn Yankee was happy?

So at least we are better then Days of our Lives?
It is refreshing to know someone can leave it all on the computer and not get all hung up on it.
You might feel differently if someone involved,Yankeemom, Mrs. Hankey, and Hankey Jr., and were serious about what they were posting. And to top it all when you reply in defense of your family, you are moderated by five old foole who look down their noses at anyone who dares question their actions.
I guess I'm lucky here. No one on these forums know anyone in my family. Therefore they can't become involved. If someone says something about any of them I'd look at it as a "Yo Momma" type thing said in school yards all across the country on a daily basis. Just here it's said by adults, not kids. I guess how I respond to it decides if it was said to an adult or kid. Of course back when I was married, had someone called my wife a b..ch, I'd have taken it personally. VERY personally. Only because it would have meant that they in fact did know her personally, and therefore it would be personal. I'd have to have given them a thumbs up on the post also.

Yankeemom is not my mom. Mr. Hankeys family don't post here. well most of them. and the little poohs don't go on the internet without Hankey supervision. That way Mr. hankey don't have problems like that.
My wife, my son, and my daughter can take care of themselves. But anyone who would slur a 79 year old lady, that they don`t know, and have never met is not very much of a man. And then is not man enough to meet face to face, but will sit behind his old worn out computer,in his rented apartment in the little town of Pickens and continue to threaten my family.
