I don't know, Hankey. The only use ol' JD ever had for a cricket (other than the nice, helpful Cricket who used to work - maybe still works - for the Clemson Sports Information Director) involved a fishhook and a lake. Otherwise, they usually do annoy me more than a little bit.
I once took out the wall of a mobile home - uh, pardon me, prefabricated home - with a 12-gauge shotgun when one of them got behind the baseboard and decided 4 a.m. was a good time to start making those damned cricket noises the make by rubbing their legs together. I don't know if I got the little bastard or not, but I shut him the hell up for awhile so I could sleep off a night of carousing. 
Since then, I've given up both heavy drinking and being awake at 4 a.m. for no good reason. Both will kill you eventually, you know.

Hankey, rather than shutting 'er down, why don't you hand the keys to the place over to somebody like Wyatt? There are some who NEED this forum, you know. I mean, Wyatt's head would explode if he didn't have some public forum somewhere where he can say "fuck" occasionally. Sometimes, you just can't hold a word like that in without causing permanent damage.

Hank, I too will hate to see this forum go away, but if you do decide to turn your keys over to someone else,I think ZN706 would be a much better choice than Wyatt,he didn`t study under JD Tippett, and The Hankey Forum would be safe from becomming a spinoff of ATZ. Why don`t you just continue to run it from wherever it is you are moving?
