Hankey, I have a very good feeling that this is going to be a very popular forum. As long as you stay true to your word and let everyone blow off a little steam, post their true feelings and not be afraid of getting censured at every turn in the conversation,or even worse, tossed under the bus for expressing a view that is not popular with the moral majority. Who in my opinion are a bunch of uptight @ss holes.

Don't take Mr. Hankey wrong. this is not about andersontalkzone moderators.
Mr. Hankey enjoyed most back and forth with them. Nothing personal but Mr. Hankey feels they have taken the board over. That they are going to make it what they feel it should be. not what the members think. Member s seem to have no say now. we seemed to when Nick had it but not now. Mr. Hankey was willing to go with the moderation thing. read my post when it started. but it did not take long for it to change into somthing more. so we have this, whatever it turns into. In fact Mr. Hankey hopes to see them stop by.

I got banned by JD and his merry band of blog police. For the life of me I can't figure out why. I did call "Pappy" an 'ole kook, but, geez, I thought the truth was an absolute defense. Frankly, given all the slander, inuendo and hateful things written about me on the Cockelbur, I had a freeby coming.
Then, there's all that mean stuff the hate crowd said about Bill McAbee. Did they get banned? Nope!

Regardless, I hope you stick to the no-banning pledge and that bloggers on the YankeeWay practice fair, honest and open commenting. Keep the curse words to a bare minimum and be less sensitive with those who don't agree.

As for JD - someone should go back and find all the insults he has hurled - there are many. Some model he is, huh!

Finally, for now, I hope Preston doesn't resign. I prefer he stay and continue to work for Anderson County. If he gets terminated from his position, I hope he gets a BIG payday. When that happens, we can lay that at the feet of the RickDriver nut bunch!
